About

Here's my story, and I'm stickin' to it.

Dr. Joanne Gjelsten, pronounced “JELsten”, graduated cum laude from New York Chiropractic College in 1995. On faculty there for 3 years, I also enjoyed my practice called Geneva Chiropractic in the Finger Lakes.

Moving back home to Rockland in 1998, I began my practice in Nyack and in Chestnut Ridge. I closed my Nyack office this year so am working now only at the Chestnut Ridge NY office, where I see my patients from all over the area. I am lucky to be partnered and now married as of July 24th 2016, for 43 years, to a wonderful person!
